Drop Everything And Read: A new initiative has been taken up to promote reading habit among children. They are engaged in 15 mins of reading every day.

The Reading Tree Challenge

The reading tree challenge promotes book reading with target setting.

Tree Targets:

  • 05 books – leaf
  • 10 books bud
  • 15 books blossom
  • 20 books an owl
  • 25 books a crowned owl

‘I read so I get a treat’ Specially designed Bingo tickets (having names of books available in the class library) are distributed among the children, the teacher randomly calls out names of the books. The student who has read the maximum books gets a treat .
