GLOBAL CONNECT PROGRAM WITH UNIVERSITY OF WALES  (NOVEMBER 10, 2020)

Students of BBPS and University of Wales, UK held animated online discussion on multilingualism, reservations, Special needs and examination system in India and New Education Policy 2020.

GLOBAL CONNECT PROGRAM WITH PONZAH SCHOOL POLAND VIA FLIPGRID

Students of Class XI and XII engaged with their peers from Ponzah School, Poland via Flipgrid, to discuss the changes in their routine due to Covid 19. They uploaded videos and answered questions on what it is like to be at home and how they were coping with the pandemic.

GENERATION GLOBAL SCHOOL ALUMNI MODERATOR

Students from all over the world applied for the post of Generation Global School Alumni Moderator in the month of April 2020. Students were supposed to register for the post, followed by an interview in the month of May 2020. Following four students of the school have been selected by Generation Global.

  • Aadityaraj Mehrotra

The selected students will receive the following

  • Training on the Generation Global Dialogue model;
  • IT training related to the online community;
  • A dedicated member of staff to mentor, supervise and build a portfolio of skills in the field;
  • Experience of engaging with a global community of students and teachers;
  • Experience in a pioneering pedagogy of dialogue.
  • Potentially, there may be the opportunity to represent the programme in the Media. In the past, alumni moderators appeared in radio and print media talking about their experiences.
  • At the end of a successful volunteer year participants will receive:
    1. A certificate of participation.
    2. A letter of reference, signed by the Head of Education at TBI, outlining your experience.

First Generation Global Teachers' Videoconference

Generation Global organised the first video conference for  teachers all over India on 8th April 2020. 20 teachers from different schools shared their experiences, challenges, and best practices with other peer teachers. Ms Rohini Gautam and Ms. Sony Devatwal participated from our school.

Following was the proposed agenda

  • Opening round of sharing: What is it like to be you, Wherever you are, right now? How are you feeling and how has this situation affected you personally?
  • Enquiry: What challenges are you facing as a teacher?
  • Any strategies, tips, recommendations for other peer teachers who are on this VC?
  • Reflection: How can we all go forward from here? Closing with one thing you are thankful for in this moment.

Second Generation Global Teachers' Videoconference

Generation Global organised the second video conference for  teachers all over India on 6th May 2020. 20 teachers from different countries shared their experiences, challenges, and best practices with other peer teachers. Ms. Neha Buddhiraja participated from our school.

Areas for Dialogue

  1. Sharing both personal and professional  experiences of the pandemic with peers
  2. Sharing what you would like leaders to know about your experiences and whether it has changed how you think about education
  3. What you would like to learn from your global peers about what has and has not worked regarding remote learning
  4. What help do you need/require?

Ultimate Dialogue Adventure Demo Session by Generation Global

4 Teachers from the School attended the Ultimate Dialogue Adventure Demo Session of the new website https://adventure.generation.global , launched by Generation Global on 7 August 2020 in which Ms. Shruti Sharma , Generation Global Co-ordinator gave demo of the different sections of the website.

 

GENERATION GLOBAL SCHOOL VISIT (MARCH 7 2019)

Visit of Delegation from Spain (February 21, 2019)

As a follow up of an exchange visit to Spain, Mr Haru Mehra (Director, Le Frehindi, Paris), Hector Greciano, Deputy Director of International School Buitrago and Cesar Lorento, Coordinator of International Activities visited the school to interact with children and forge new bonds of friendship.

The school has been conferred with Generation Global Outstanding Award for promoting respect and faith for diverse communities through school activities.
